The fundamental principles of yoga establish a foundation to begin the process of stress reduction, healing, and self discovery. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Each class contains elements that contribute to wellness:

  • assessment of each individual's needs
  • body awareness experience
  • breath awareness and relation to movement
  • information on yoga and health
  • postures / movements to release tension and expand sense of self
  • guided imagery, relaxation, and meditation.
