Samedan.Yoga to tune up the body, mind, and spirit; hiking in the
magnificent Alps; elegant accommodations at the four-star Hotel Quadratscha
– these are key ingredients of an unforgettable vacation in
the sunniest part of Switzerland. SEGANTINI TRACKSThis year we will track the footsteps of Switzerland's favorite late 19th century artist, Giovanni Segantini (1858 - 1899). Relatively unknown outside of Switzerland, this painter of landscapes and life in the Engadine region of the Swiss Alps was part of the avant garde art movement in France and all of Europe. Segantini's vibrant paintings become more alive and meaningful in their native surroundings. Early in the week we'll visit the collection of his paintings at the Segantini Museum in St. Moritz. During the week we will walk his trails and view alpine landscapes through the artist's eyes. For more information on the museum and the artist, go
